If you plan spending more time in Vilnius and use public transport, we recommend you buying an e-ticket JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card. It is available at Narvesen store in the airport (Arrival A or Departure), in Vilnius Railway Station. The card may be credited with an appropriate amount of money to be used for selected public transport tickets. With a valid ticket in the card, properly activated on board of a public vehicle, it is possible to change public transport for free and for unlimited number of journeys, if necessary. The card costs EUR 1.50. There is also an option to buy a ticket on the bus using a contacless bank card. Information on ticket types and prices can be found here.
Trafi app
For smart phone users we strongly advise to download a Trafi app. This app shows you the fastest way to get to a designated area by bus, trolley or an alternative option like car-sharing.
